The ancient Greek root of psychology is
psyche, meaning soul.
Psychotherapy, at its heart, is the revival of one's soul.
Women's Psychotherapy: My Modalities
Trauma-informed therapy integrating somatic and depth psychology,
guided by a holistic feminine perspective.
Trauma Informed: We explore the roots of your emotional blocks and trauma through the body (soma). By staying present with what’s alive right now, your body naturally reveals unfinished feelings, stuck memories, and areas of emotional tension ready to be integrated. This will look like exploring touch, movement, and guided meditations to inhabit your body more fully and release past hurts.

Hormonal Health: During our sessions, you're invited to explore the map of your menstrual cycle, as it provides important insight into emotional patterns, trauma activation, and self regulation. Becoming in tune with your inner hormonal rhythms creates greater self resource, stability, and wisdom. For those in perimenopause or menopause, we will also track the shifts in your menstrual patterns.

The Emotional & Relational: Guided by the natural pace of your nervous system, we will integrate the hidden parts of yourself that remain stuck in trauma — the aspects quietly shaping your thoughts, emotions, and choices. We explore how some of these parts may keep you trapped in patterns of insecure attachment within your relationships, holding you back from embodying your most fulfilled, authentic self. You will learn new relationship patterns so that you can connect from a place of self security and resource. Through this process, we will access both the hidden shadow (the parts of yourself you’ve repressed) and the golden shadow (hidden gifts and strengths), reclaiming aspects of yourself that support wholeness in your relationships.

These parts might include:
-
Your inner child
-
Inner masculine and feminine energies
-
Parental or ancestral influences
-
Inner Protectors
-
Animal guides or other archetypal symbols
