Relcaim Your Inner Wild & Rooted Feminine Nature
WOMEN'S PSCYHOTHERAPY:
MY APPROACH
The ancient Greek root word of psychology is psyche, which means soul. Psychotherapy in its most original form is the revival of one's soul. In my work of soul recovery with women, we work with the roots as vessel and wild emotions as ingredients.
Roots sustain, hold, and remain centered through the greatest storms and seasons of turbulence in your life; grief, anxiety, depression, heartbreak, confusion, and even apathy towards living itself. Roots make it safe for us to enter into our deepest and greatest inner wildness - the expression of our emotional truths.
The wildness of our soul is an opening to the totality of our intuitive instincts and emotions, particularly the ones we have been taught to feel most uncertain about. The emotional weathers that sweep across our inner landscapes are the ones that reshape and evolve the soul into it's original, most fulfilling expression.

“The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.”
― Clarissa Pinkola Estés
My Modalitieses
My approach is based in Somatic and Depth Psychology
with an Ancient Eco Feminine-centric Worldview.
The Roots: In our work together we will inquire somatically (through the body) and energetically into the root of your internal blocks, trauma, and emotional discomforts. By working in the present with the emotionally charged material in your life in this moment, it slowly reveals the doorways to your past, in which feelings or memories weren't able to fully digest. This somatic approach supports you to digest these parts of your past, so that both your body and psyche can feel more freed up and at peace in your everyday life. This somatic approach is an experiential process that builds cohesive awareness between your physical body (sensations), your energy body (emotions, cognitive belief patterns, memories) and your spirit (your wholeness). This process is a continual rooting back into the home of your body, bringing you into deeper ground so that you can more easily navigate the turbulence of life with greater resilience and equanimity.

Additionally, exploring your connection to your womb is an important part of my approach. It is not only the foundation of your body (your root system) but it reveals your own unique rhythm of hormonal cycling. This is as an important map that provides us with your patterns, including spikes in trauma activation and variations in mood. This map also gives us important information about your capacity for pleasure, creativity, dream visioning, and important anchors for balancing emotional strife with resource. Through this exploration, we are building connection with the rooted foundation of your body- your womb. (For women who do not experience a monthly menses or are menopausal, we will explore your emotional patterns with the moon cycles.)

The Wild: In our work together we will bring awareness to the inner parts and emotions that arise from your somatic inquiry. In the reconnection with your inner wild, we move from repression to expression of your most authentic nature, encouraging the fullness of your emotional, intuitive, and instinctual range. Titrating with the pace of your nervous system, to encounter your most authentic expression and desires within the shadow of your psyche. In this process, we open the dialogue with your inner archetypes. Working with your inner child, inner masculine and feminine, inner mother or father, collective feminine archetypes, or animal archetypes. In this exploration, you are encouraged to bring significant material arising from your dreams. The overarching goal of our sessions is to create greater fluidity and presence inside of you, so that you can allow the fullness of your own inner landscape to exist. This ultimately leads to greater clarity and intuition, supporting you in navigating your life from a place of ease and instinct.

Rooting & Wilding: Lastly, my approach is eco-spiritual and existential. I believe that our bodies and the Earth can in time become our two greatest resources. Together we will build a profound relationship between your root chakra and the Earth, your inner wild and nature, feeding you with daily nourishment. As you deepen into your inner wild and root, we will explore what herbs, elements, trees, animals, might further support your healing process.
